“Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.”
~ Pablo Picasso

About
Wu Mingpei
Wu Mingpei was Born in 1971. Her artistic style is influenced by the Lingnan School’s water- and color-splashing techniques.
Blending them with a modern perspective, she transforms ink into flowing meditations on emotion and form.
Indigo, ochre, and free-running washes replace the classical cunfa strokes, revealing ink’s own vatality
.
Her works has exhibited in several countries, including the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum and the National ART Center, Tokyo, as well as Italy and South Korea. She was also selected for the"Salon d'Automne " in Paris.
